Privacy Policy
Best Home Systems does not share any information about you or your transaction with outside parties except as required to transact your order. Best Home Systems does NOT rent, sell, trade, or otherwise provide customer mailing or e-mail addresses to third parties.
To further safeguard your privacy and protect both you and Best Home Systems from fraudulent activities, we use a secure server using software that encrypts all information during transactions while your order is being placed and processed. You will notice the lock symbol in the lower right side of
the browser shopping cart checkout window during transaction processing with the
shopping cart. Additionally, all of the customer data we collect from the transaction is protected on our servers against unauthorized access.
You may contact Best Home Systems any time via email or during our regular business hours by phone, if you have any concerns or questions.
Best Home Systems Privacy & Information Use Policy does not include information that is inherent to the operation of the Internet, and therefore beyond the control of Best Home Systems, and is not to be applied in any manner contrary to applicable law or governmental regulation. This policy is subject to change at any time.
Billing Policy
Your credit card will only be charged for the items that are shipped and only after shipping has occurred. You will be notified via email if items need to be backordered and you will have the opportunity to instruct us as to how you want us to handle your order.
Unless special arrangements are made, orders paid for via check will be shipped the next regular business day after the check clears our bank. It can take up to seven business days for a check to clear the bank. Backorders should not be a problem as you will have contacted us via email or by phone prior to sending us a check for your purchase. Product availability will be ascertained
during the check clearing process. Orders paid for via cashier check or money
order are shipped the next business day after receipt of payment.
Manufacturer Warranties
All manufacture warranties are honored. We have carefully selected our suppliers in an effort to assure they provide high quality technologically advanced products that not only offer appropriate warranties but have a strong track record of customer satisfaction and a proven willingness to stand behind their products.
Products purchased from Best Home Systems that malfunction within 30
calendar days of initial delivery to the customer will receive a 100% refund of the purchase price
of the product only or, if requested by the customer, a replacement
product will be provided. This can be arranged with our customer service department. Shipping charges
associated with shipping a replacement product to the customer will be paid by
our supplier. The shipping method will be ground shipping and the carrier
will be determined by our supplier. Any shipping charges associated with
the initial order are not refundable for any reason as our suppliers are willing
to provide, at no charge, a replacement product for any product determined to be
defective within 30 calendar days of initial delivery to the customer. However,
within 30 calendar days of initial delivery to the customer, should a claim be
made that the product is defective, our supplier has several options. Our
supplier may field scrap the product which will result in a refund of the
purchase price of the product or, if requested by the customer, a replacement
product will be provided. Our supplier may request the product be returned
so a determination can be made by our supplier if the product is actually
defective. If the product is determined by our supplier to be defective
the purchase price paid for the product will be refunded or, at the request of
the customer, a replacement product will be provided. If our supplier
requests the product be returned and upon receiving the product our supplier determines the
returned product is not defect and
returns the product to stock, a 25% restocking fee will be charged along with
any return shipping charges incurred by Best Home Systems or our supplier.
Additionally, order processing charges also known as a minimum order processing fee, that may
have been applied to the initial order for processing purposed only, are not
refundable for
any reason.
Products purchased from Best Home Systems that malfunction after 30
calendar days from initial delivery of the product to the customer, but within the manufacturers warranty period, will be replaced or repaired at
the option of our supplier with no additional charge
excluding any shipping charges. All manufacturers warranty terms and restrictions apply.
Products that malfunction during
this warranty period require a Return Authorization Number so the product can be
replaced or repaired by our supplier. Cash refunds for malfunctioning
products will not be made after 30 calendar days from initial delivery to the
customer. At the discretion of our supplier, our supplier may request the
malfunctioning product be returned to our supplier or they may field scrap the
malfunctioning product. Best Home Systems or our suppliers will not
reimburse return shipping charges. The product will be replaced or
repaired with an identical product, if available, or a similar product if an
identical product is no longer available. Shipping charges will be charged
for warranty replacement products after 30 calendar days from initial delivery

Order Status Inquiry
How do I check the status of my order?
24 hours a day 7 days a week you can check your order status by selecting
the "Order Status" link in the header bar of
www.BestHomeSystems.com.
You will need your invoice number found on the invoice you received when you
placed your order and the last name of the person who was billed for the order. Or, you can
click here to E-Mail us at any time and we will respond during normal business hours
and provide you with the latest information regarding the status of your order.
Additionally, in most cases you will receive a tracking number that can be used
at the internet site of the carrier handling your order. This will enable
you to track every aspect of the process of your shipment.
In-stock and Backordered Items
In-Stock Items
In-stock orders are usually shipped the day after the order is processed (weekends and holidays excluded). Orders placed by internet or by phone receive the same handling. We do not add any additional handling fees to your order
with the exception of lighting products only for which there is a
order processing fee of $15 for orders that total less than $90 (shipping charges not
included). This is a requirement of our lighting supplier. Because
this is a processing fee it is not refundable for any reason.
Many of our suppliers have warehouses nationwide and most items can be shipped directly to you
from the warehouse nearest your location which can minimize costly air freight charges. All shipments are completely insured. We only ship within the United States. We do not ship to Canada or
abroad. The exception to this is that we will ship to our military
customers via an APO address. This requires special arrangements be
made with our sales department.

In the event that items you order need to be backordered we will email you as to which items require backordering. You will have the option to either ship the items in stock immediately and then the backordered items will be shipped
as they become available or hold the order until all items are available for shipment. Backordered items will be shipped via Standard UPS Ground unless other arrangements are made prior to shipping. Backorders: Alaska and Hawaii
Backordered items are shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air or the new 5 day UPS
Ground and may involve additional charges. You will be notified prior to
shipment if additional charges will be necessary. We request that all items ship together to avoid
multiple shipping charges but we will be happy to ship multiple times at your
request.
International addresses
We do not ship internationally. We will ship to an APO address
for our military customers.
Return Policy
Best Home Systems wants you to be completely happy with your purchase and
more importantly wants to assure you are actually ordering what you
want. For all returns other than warrantee and defective items, our suppliers charge a restocking fee.
This restocking fee is 25% of the purchase price of the part excluding shipping and/or order
processing charges. Additionally, any and all shipping cost associated
with a return of any part(s) will be the responsibility of the party returning
the part(s). Best Home Systems will not pay or reimburse return shipping
charges for any reason.
Please feel free to inquire about a product if you are not quite sure about
something you want to order. We will make every effort to aid you in your
selection. In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase and
return a purchased item and the item is found to not be defective as
determined by our supplier, Best Home Systems will provide you with a 75% refund, excluding
any shipping charges
and any previously paid processing fees, providing the following conditions are met:
- Items must be returned to our supplier within 30 days from the date that you receive the item.
- Items are returned in their original condition.
Returns not meeting the above conditions will be charged the minimum restocking fee of
25% and can vary from 25% to 100% of the full purchase price, at our discretion, depending on the condition of the returned items. Software, books, manuals, clearance items, and videotapes are not returnable except for replacement if defective.
Order processing fees, if paid, are not refundable. Credit card purchases will be refunded to the original purchaser's credit card. Check, cash, or money orders will be refunded by a check. Best Home Systems will process your return as quickly as possible but this process may take up to two
months.

- We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in shipment; we recommend that items be shipped back via UPS or insured parcel post.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Minimum Order Processing Fee
All lighting products are drop shipped from our supplier, Nora
Lighting. Nora charges a non-refundable processing fee to cover the
expense of processing
small orders. Therefore, orders that total less than $90, excluding
tax and shipping, require the addition of a $15 non-refundable processing fee. Because we provide products from
several different suppliers, our shopping
cart is not capable of automatically calculating or adding this fee. Should this
fee apply to your order, you can avoid delays by letting us know you concur with this additional charge by entering your approval in the customer comments box of the
shopping cart check out page when finalizing your order. If you do not let us know that you agree to us adding the minimum order charge, we will be sending you an email requesting your concurrence prior to processing your order.
If you concur, a new approval will be made with your credit card company for the
transaction and the initial transaction approval will be canceled. This is
only an approval as the transaction is not captured (the process of actually
charging your credit card) until we have verified your order has shipped and we
have emailed you the shipper tracking information. When we receive your
concurrence to the addition of the processing fee, you will be emailed an
updated invoice that will include the addition of the fee and the new total
invoice amount.

Although every effort has been taken to provide you with the most accurate and up to date information regarding our products
and prices, Best Home Systems does not assume any responsibility for typographical errors
or incorrect information.
Best Home Systems provides pictures of products for reference purposes only.
Variations may exist between representative pictures of products displayed
within the website and the actual characteristics, size, look, finish, color, or
feel of any part shipped to you by one of our suppliers. Please contact
us if constraints exist that require specific conditions be met for your
particular application. We will attempt to provide you with information
that will allow you to consult directly with our supplier of that product to
assure your questions are answered and constraints met prior to making your
purchase.
If you find any conflicting or incorrect information please notify us and we will
place a priority on correcting it.
Best Home Systems does not assume any liability for damage caused by products improperly installed, manufacturers' defects, or for any other reason.
Transformers are sold only to customers who are purchasing Nora products that
require the use of a transformer in the Nora system or to industrial customers
when purchasing transformers in bulk. Transformers will not be sold under
any other circumstances. We apologize for this inconvenience of not being
able to accommodate those of you who need a replacement transformer for other
applications.
